Knowing we wanted to add another RH Dutchie to the family soon, our search led us to this fellow! We couldn’t be happier!

Let the training begin! Nico was a little behind on training and socialization when we got him but he is a smart and sweet puppy who takes everything as it comes. He is learning to ignore other dogs and tiny humans at the coffee house this morning. This little guy is so happy all the time, he just needs to grow some confidence which we are sure will come as he settles in and goes more places and sees more situations. What a stable, eager to please temperament he has!

We are no longer have a breeding pair Rough Coated Dutch Shepherds. We lost Delilah in 2020 at age 15 and a half and Kobus passed away at 16 years and 8 months. However . . . we just brought a new puppy in! Melamordo Negan Smith (aka: Nico) came to join us at The Rancho in June 2026. We are so blessed and so excited to have a rough coat in the house again. What an amazing pup he is! Big thanks to Betsy Plumer and Melamordo kennels for this opportunity!

Kobus and Delilah had 2 litters together for a total of 9 puppies. Kobus also sired another litter of two puppies.
